Although nearly all of the Turtles toys have been produced by Playmates, one exception has been LEGO, which started licensing the franchise in 2013. So a comic book might have an initial print run of 250,000. It’s so simple it’s brilliant: Moon Knight was never broken to begin with, so attempts to fix him were fundamentally misguided. That said, nearly two years of decreases is a concern. For the anthologies, they are seeking only completed stories. The character moments are equally well-crafted, with plenty of scene setting and emotional depth.

Please do not submit any work that utilizes already-existing characters—Image characters or otherwise—as they will automatically be declined. We begin a 2 part word balloon conversation that will conclude next tuesday. There’s a LOT of great gems in this piece, and although the specifics might not relate to your story, trust me, there’s knowledge that applies to EVERY story in this piece. What really hurts it for me is that your dialogue is just as cliché as the plot.

To the novice coming here looking to take a step away from the typical Marvel/ DC, you've come to the right place, as Image delivers just as good, if not better stories. Send some photocopied samples of your work to the address on the ‘Contact Us’ page, at least two pages of which should be fully-inked sequential comic art pages. It wasn't long before both Dave and I were working in Hanna-Barbera Productions' layout department. (We had both already done work for the studio's line of Mark Evanier-edited comics for Marvel.) Our first assignment was on H-B's THE GODZILLA POWER HOUR.

The Turtles decide to go their separate ways. Also out of Marvel: Adaptations of Baum’s Oz books (just forget the movie), they did the Dark Tower stuff. That is a pretty wide margin of error and a lot of comics, whether you lean towards the low or high end. Also the NPC statblocks (for example the sheriff of Sandpoint) and articles of the nearby regions are nice. It was written by Tullus fan and historian, Prof. If it’s a Mile High copy, you know it’s one of the finest condition copies there is.

Theakston: Well, there’s a lot of debate on that within the community. So it's not hard to see why DRM-free is a win for consumers. In the case of Image Comics specifically, the books need to support various formats, including PDF, ePub, CBR/CBZ, and Comixology's format, which requires file maintenance, tracking, and uploading to various digital comics marketplaces. There are few guarantees from over the air networks to drama shows.

Creators continue to be offered Imprints ( ex Kirkman’s Skybound ) and you see them continue to operate independently ( ex Kirkman’s Walking Dead, Outcast, etc. along with the options for series like Invincible are with the production company, Circle of Confusion, and while you’ll see Skybound flash in the credits you don’t see a big animated Image logo over his stuff because fundamentally that isn’t what Image is about. ) So Image is massive and quite successful for what they set out to be… they’re just committed to creator-owned which means creators come and go and take their characters with them and Image doesn’t really have stake in the success they find with those characters outside of the comics they publish.
